Impact estimation
Post-disaster impact estimation
Who and what fall inside the observed extent of an actual disaster, from Copernicus EMS products, hours to days after it strikes.
Use Case 2 · Impact · during / just after. Takes the observed impact zone for an event, intersects it with population and infrastructure, and aggregates per zone with a time dimension as new products arrive.
In this version the observed extent is a buffer around the event location and population is synthetic. Replace the extent with the CEMS / Charter vector product linked to the event in Montandon.
